Lately, the site has slipped into inactiveness as you can probably tell. I blame myself for that, since it started happening while I was on vacation, and by the time I had time to something about it, everyone was pretty much gone. But I'm getting back on track, and doing more work on the site. This weekend I'm doing some major improvements to get the site up and running again. Because it's not going to die. I repeat. NOT. GOING. TO. DIE. Ok?
Now, I'm doing some early "spring cleaning". All ic threads have gotten moved to the archives board. I'm basically cleaning everything out, and starting over. I'm also working on getting new members. If the old ones come back, great, if they don't, well, we'll miss them, but oh well. I know advertising isn't fun, but it's neccessary. Contests never seem to work, so as a little incentive for advertising, you earn $100 per ad. You must use our ad, and provide links. You can read more in the thread in the "Everything You Need To Know" board.
The word count. I know some people like it, some people hate it, some people don't care about it. Longer posts do boost a forum's reputation, but since the site is dead, I'm not making it mandatory. You must have at least 3 sentences, and it's great if you do get 200 words, but no one will scold you if you don't. I know not everyone will agree with this, but until the site gets active again, I think it's best if it stays this way. People don't always have time for long posts, so if you can just pop in, type 3 sentences, and leave, great.
I will be creating several threads in different categories, so please try to make at least one post if you're here. It'll make the site look active, and attract more members.
The Plot. I have come up with a plot, and posted it in the announcement board. It won't happen for a while, but it's just a heads up of what's to come. Staff, if you have any suggestions or changes, post them in the staff board.
Upcoming Events. The following events will be starting in the next few weeks.
-School Dance, start finding dates!
-Training Sessions, these are mandatory for students, something the Head Mistress organizes so all students know how to fight
-Performances and Games. For the clubs, sport teams will start practices and having games, and anyone in things like music will start getting ready for a performance.
Possibly Coming Soon.
An airport. You'll be able to travel to other parts of the world. This will require some planning, since I can't have people flying anywhere and everywhere. You may have to buy a plane ticket, or something along those lines. Staff and I will discuss.
Contests. Us staff will be creating some fun contests where you can earn money/prizes.
