Madge walked into the stables, the sound of her boots echoed through the horse barn. As she walked by she patted a few horses she knew from different riding experiences. First she stopped by a paint horse. Her spots were dark brown and her mane was brown also. The label under the horses stall door read FREEDOM because she wasn't a barn born horse. The blood that ran through the horses veins was wild. Madge stroked her snout and fed her a sugar cub. "That's a good girl." The next stop was in front of a regular brown horse. The blonde girl pat his neck three times then walked into the supply closet and brought out an apple and fed it to the horse. The label on his door read BILLY. He was nice and slow, a little old even. But Madge was more for fast horses. "You're a good boy Billy." She said and he snorted back. Madge took it as a thank you. Walking a little farther up and on the other side was a white horse with light brown flecks all over, especially on her snout. Her name was Freckles. Freckles was more of a jumping horse and Madge liked running horses. Giving the girl a carrot before leaving she went to the back of the stable. There was Strider. He was known for his intelligence and speed. Madge always used him now. Always. He was white with black and some gray spots on his rear end. "You're my prize. Aren't you now boy?" He whinnied and flipped his head around, tossing his black mane back and forth. Madge left after petting his neck and came back a minute later with a bucket full of hay in one hand and a bucket full of water in the other hand. Setting it down some water splashed out and landed on some dried mud on the ground. Unlocking the door she slipped in with the buckets and they took the place of his old, empty ones. Going back to the supplies closet she set the empty buckets down and grabbed a handful of sugar cubes and an apple she was headed back down to Strider. Standing back in his stall she set his sugar cubes in the mix of all his hay then set the apple wear his brush was. She grabbed the brush and started to comb out all the dirt from his beautiful white fur. Once she was done and Strider was distracted by the food she checked his hooves. They looked clean enough not to scrape the dirt out of them so she grabbed a heavy saddle and a blanket you're supposed to put under it. She set it on a metal bar in his stall and grabbed the bridle from the hook outside of his stall. Madge listened to his gulping down the water as she put the gear on his back. Then last the bridle. She slipped it over his head and tightened it so it wasn't to loose or to tight. grabbing the end of his reins she led him out, his black eyes staring back at his food. "Don't worry boy you'll get it soon." She led him out into the training center for racing horses. The cool breeze felt good as Madge rolled up her sleeves. This was the fun part. She got up on the saddle and mounted 'her' horse. They began with a trot and soon they were in a sprint. She listened to his deep breaths as he ran like the wind in the circle, kicking up dirt behind him. "Run Strider! Run!" She called to him as they were off passing others on the track ATTIRE~ click hereHAIR~ click here

I hopped out of my red truck and hiked up the pathway to the stables. My eyes searched the stalls for Blue Boy, my blue roan. He had been mine for a year or two and I absolutely loved him. I named him after my nick-name: Lil Red. Finally, at the end of the horse hall, I found him. At the sight of me, he kicked his head back and gave a high whine. Hey Blue Boy! How are ya? I walked up to his stall to look him in the eye. He whinnied and kicked the back of the stall with one hoof. Easy boy! I know I haven't ridden you in a while, but other people have given you exercise. I smiled, opening his stall door. He stepped towards me. Nope! Back up. I gave him a push and he obeyed. Once I was finished tacking up Blue Boy, I grabbed his saddle, a blanket, his bit, his bridle, and his reins. I did some buckling, snapping, scolding the horse, and tada! Blue Boy was ready to go.
Outside the barn, I hopped onto his back. He trotted in the direction of the race track. I smiled. I was happy for once. My past was behind me, and what lay ahead could only be better. Blue Boy quickened his pace towards a horse in front of us, a good 100 meters away. Hey! I pulled back on his reins. Knock it off! We pulled up beside the girl on her freckled horse. Hi. Blue Boy lunged out and nipped the horse. No! Madge kept running and running til someone behind her told her to stop. "Hi," She gave her a sly smile then quickly pulled her horse's head to the side with the reins where the other horse's jaws made a cluck sound as they closed on the space Srider's head use to be. "Wow now. It's okay." Madge gave her a small white smile to reasure her it's okay. "I'm Madge"

Drew walked to the stable. She had on a green plad shirt that was a button up. With a light skinny jeans that where darker at the hip and where a little ripped. Drew had knee high pale tan boots that folded around them. Her hair was bown and a little past her shoulder lightly curled. It had a blue highlight in it on a little of the under layer.
Reaching the stable Drew walked in the stable and walking over to the stall of the horse she normally rode. She was a chestnut Arabian mare named Egypt. Egypt was prancing around her stall. Going into the tack room. Drew went in and grabbed a saddle, a saddle blanket, horse boots, and a bridle and rains. Walking to the stall opening the door. Setting all the supplies down Drew picked up the saddle blanket placing it on Egypts back. Then got the saddle putting it on the horses back. She didn't like it very much but took it reluctantly. Then put on her bridle and threw the rains over her back. Taking the horse boots Drew knelt down rapping them around one leg at a time.
Taking the rains Drew walked the mare put of her stall and out of the barn to the arena. Throwing the rains over her back and leaping on. Drew kneed Egypt a little making her move forward. First having the young mare trot and canter around the Arena to get her warmed up a little.

Strider snorted when the other horse walked by and he flew his head backwards. Madge patted him on the neck and gave a small smile to the girl who walked by on her other horse. Strider then started to stomp his feet. "Oh, um, sorry my horse is getting really anxious so I can talk to you backk in the stable. Sorry, I just don't like to keep him waiting." She didn't want to be rude but when Strider was kept waiting he got grumpy. Walking away Madge hit his side hard with the back of her boot, knowing it wouldn't hurt him. He started to run again and got faster and faster as the path got more straight.
