Drew heard a voice and looked up "Um.... I don't think so" she said to the guy as Drew smiled at him warmly. She wanted to go back to reading her book, but didn't want to seem rude like she was ignoring him.

Lily glanced up from her book as someone sat down. A boy she didn't recognize. "No, I don't think so. Name's Lily." She replied, a friendly smile. Even though her book was good, it could wait. She was never one to be rude, except to people she didn't like. "Don't talk too loudly. The Head Mistress was in here a couple minutes ago, and she told us not talk. The librarian then said we could, but I don't want to push our luck."

Drew nodded "Ya you never know," she said with a smile "The Head Mistress could walk in at any moment and then it would not be pretty" Drew said a little jokingly. "I'm Drew by the way" she said to him. He was different from anyone she had ever seen, but not in a bad way.

I smiled. Got their attention... I shrugged.
"What are ya gonna do if ya get caught?"
I let my shoulder fall into place. I stuck out my hand for them to shake in turn.
"The name's Nick. Nice to meet, you guys. And may I say you both are gorgeous"

Drew nodded putting her hand out shaking it. "Nice to meet you to Nick" she said. "And..... Let's just say I'm going to try my best not to get cought" Drew told him with a small laugh. Smiling as he winked at her and Lily. He was interesting and Drew liked that.

You hear so many rumors, it's hard to know what's real, and what's made up." She replied, then glanced at him. So he was a flirt. Not that there was anything wrong with that. She smiled, and shook her head.

Drew nodded in agreement "Ya over the five years I've been here I've heard a lot of story's and roomers about that and I'm assuming most of them are just made up to scare the littler kids into behaving" she said letting go of Nicks hand and putting it back on the book she had been reading.

I chuckled. My ears picked up the slightest shush from the librarian. I winced, and put my index finger to my lips.
"Oops..."
I whispered to them. My mouth hitched up a bit.
"Busted!"
I slapped my hands on the table, and pushed myself up to my feet.
"Don't wanna get you guys in trouble, or annoy you, so I guess I'll go. See you girls around, huh?"

Drew nodded "Ya that would be bad" she said. Then looked at the librarian "It's ok we just need to be quieter" Drew told him with a slight smile. "You can stay" She said brightly with a brief smile.

I smiled. I sat back down, propping my elbow on the table. I lay my chin in my palm and stared at them, a grin on my face.
"Then I guess I'm staying."
I gotta choose one. I can't go out with them both. I gave a quiet sigh. I lifted my chin.
"So what do you guys `shift` into?"
I asked with curious words.

Drew nodded a little smiling. "Ow I shift into a cougar" she said blinking her grey eyes and pulling a strand of pale hair behind her ear.

I nodded in approval. "Cool. Eagle and a cougar. Neat." My gaze shifted to Lily. "I shift into a panther." I smiled. Then added, "Hey, I'm going to this dance tomorrow, and I was wondering if either of you needed a date, or wanted me to be your date."

Drew smiled nodded "Cool a panther" she said. Then a little surprised at that he asked about the dance, but she didn't show it. "Well I need a date" she said. Not knowing why she had said that but Nick was a little handsom.
