Horrible School

[Luke]

Luke walked in the hallways, his head visible over everyone else. He was tall. Stopping at a locker it had a small metal sign with a number on it. It read 97. Luke's locker. He opened it and crouched down to grab his math book at the bottom of his locker. Picking it up with one hand he threw his science books in with his other hand. Then he grabbed the only sharpened pencil in his locker and slipped his phone in his pocket making sure no teachers saw him. Detention wouldn't be good since he had football practice. Walking to a door down the hall he opened it to find kids talking and sitting on their desks. Luke chose a desk in the forth row and took his seat nodding to a guy next to him saying 'sup'. Then the teacher came in and his next boring class began.

[Drew]

Drew walked down the hallways to her locker. It was one of the last in the hall. Number 104. Drew has Math class know. Not her favorite but she didn't hate it. It was an ok class but not exactly the best to be in. Reaching her locker, Drew opened it setting her English books inside, and took out her math book and a pouch that held pencils. Walking to the class, Drew looked in, there where more people in here then usually where. Lots of kids in the class where seventeen, but Drew was almost Seventeen and would be in two months. It was a while to wait but Drew could. Taking her seer that was in the semi back. Drew sat in that general area in almost every class.

[Lily]

Lily shut her locker door closed, her science books in one hand. She wasn't really looking foward to science class, but she didn't really have a choice but to go. She entered the classroom, her hair falling into her eyes. She brushed it back, looking for an open seat. She waved to Drew, and set her books down in one of the only open seats left. It was in the fourth row, next to a boy she didn't recognize. She pulled out a pencil, and set it next to her books, as she sat down.

[Head Mistress]

The Head Mistress walked down the halls, her high heels clacking on the tile floor. No students were in the hallways, and had apparently all gotten to class. She walked to one of the classrooms, and opened the door. Instantly, the talking stopped as she walked in. "I'll be teaching this class today." She told the teacher, who gave a short nod, and slipped out of the room. The Head Mistress took a seat at the desk, saying nothing for the moment. She glanced at the schedule the teacher had laid out for the day. She marked a couple things out, and wrote in a couple things of her own.

[Luke]

Luke spread his legs out more to get comfortable for sitting there for an hour and started to feel happy as the kids stopped talking. He gave a shy smile at the girl next to him then turned to face the head mistress. His brown eyes glanced around for no watching eyes and he grabbed the phone from his pocket and hid it under his desk then started to play a game since the teacher wasn't teaching anything yet.

[Lily]

She gave the boy next to her a smile back. "Name's Lily." She said softly, not loud enough for the Head Mistress to hear. "Wonder why she's teaching?" With the Head Mistress running the class, Lily really wasn't looking foward to it anymore. She didn't like math to begin with, but now, it was going to be even worse. The Head Mistress occaisonally took over classes. She just seemed to like making kids nervous, and no one liked it when she taguht.

(it's easier to rpg both in one post) The Head Mistress stood up, her eyes watching the class. She stood up, and began walking down the rows, still saying nothing. Finally, she walked back up to the board. "Homework out. Luke Garner, answer to problem 1!" She said, her eyes watching him.

Lily quickly pulled out the homework assignment, glancing at Luke as the Head Mistress asked the question.

[Luke]

"Hey, I'm Luke."

He whispered to her, smiling still. Luke didn't get to answer Lily's answer because The head mistress called his name. He slipped out his homework and answer the question.

"Um, d= 759." (^sorry random answer^)

Luke smiled 'cause he knew the answer was right. He shifted his foot on the ground and his shoes squeaked. He cleared his throat. His eyes glanced back to Lily wondering if she got the same answer.

[Lily]

(feeling lazy, and it's just easier to do both in one post, so I'm doing that for now) Lily glanced at him, and gave a nod to tell him she had gotten the same thing. She hoped the Head Mistress didn't call on her for the second question. It had been a tricky one, and she wasn't sure if she had gotten it right. Normally she wouldn't have worried, but with the Head Mistress teaching..

"Correct." The Head Mistress replied. She looked around room, looking for the next student to call on. Her eyes landed on Lily. She seemed a little nervous, as if she wasn't sure if she had gotten the answer right. "Lily, problem 2."

Lily sighed. "Just my luck." She muttered. She glanced down at her paper. "...213.5(random answer too)" She said, her voice sounding a little nervous. She glanced over at Luke, wondering if he got the same thing. She hoped he had.

[Luke]

Luke nodded to her and showed her the same answer on his paper, making sure the head mistress didn't see so she didn't think they were cheating. Looking back at his homework he was checking over his homework. Seeing it was all right he set it back on his desk. He sat up more and watched the clock as time passed by making him get more bored every second.

[Lily]

She gave a sigh of relief, glad she had gotten the right answer. The Head Mistress nodded. "Correct." She began calling on another students, and Lily leaned back in her seat. She got all the other answers correct, and was really on half paying attention. She couldn't wait for this class to be over. "Today, you'll be learning..." The Head Mistress began, and started explaining something. Lily's eyes flickered to the clock every no and then, watching the minute hand slowly move around. "Homework page 132 in your textbooks." The Head Mistress finally said, and strode rapidly out of the room. The bell rang, and Lily grabbed her stuff. "Thank goodness that's over. I never liked math class to begin with, but with her teaching it, it's even worse."

[Luke]

Luke got up and grabbed his book before the bell could stop ringing. He reached in his desk and picked up his pencil. He turned around on his heels and faced Lily, sticking out his hand.

"I'm sorry I didn't get to really talk to you a lot. As I said before, I'm Luke."

The second bell rang so he knew he was late and next he had history. Blah.

"Gotta go. Save me a seat at lunch."

He winked and left the room without a word.

[Lily]

Lily shook his hand, and smiled. "See ya at lunch Luke." She hurried out the door to her next class.
