Footsteps sounded through the hallway. It was Drew, a medium highted girl with short lightly curled blond hair, and pale stone colored eyes. She had on a dark grey t-shirt with a tan colored cougar on the front. That was one of Drews faivoret animals, and what she shape shifted into. She had on dark flair jeans with faded knees. On her feet Drew had on black and white basketball shoes. There was a thick book located in her right hand by her hip. It was her History book. History started in about twenty miniuts and usually just hung out around the door chillin'. It wasn't long before she got there and leaned up against the wall her. Closing her eyes for a second. Drew sighed, she had been here for so long and had not been out in a while ether. She didn't even know where where her parents where, they just left her hear. Drew had no idea why, maybe it was just to get rid of her, or to protect her from something they never mentioned.

Tyler walked down the hall to his history class, he would be early today; he was usually late. Tyler walked with an even pace, not too slow and not too fast. Students were all at their lockers grabbing their books; Tyler already had his he was ready to go. Tyler snickered, "look who's gonna be early today." He thought.
Tyler was wearing a dark navy blue t-shirt that said "zumiez" the name of the surf shop that he went to often. He wore silver studs just above his upper lip. His pants were black and ripped here and there; the new style a lot of people wore. His skate shoes were squeaky white.
Tyler turned the last corner that lead to the History room, he walked in noticing a blond girl he saw everyday. He didn't know her but he wouldn't mind meeting her. Tyler nodded at the blond before he passed her, he took his seat in the way back of class, the same seat he always sat in. Tyler dropped his history book on top of the desk, hearing the loud thud it always made.
Tyler sat at his desk, pretty much zoning out into daydream land. Tyler daydreamed all the time in class, that's why it didn't bother him to be in it.

Drew looked at the guy that had adt her. She smiled a bit but whent on thinking. About stuff, Her parents mostly, but also some random stuff that amused her, trying to get her mind if her parents and being bumped at this school. The classes where fine, but Drew didn't like being stuck in s place for five years. She had been used to traving and moving from place to place, sure it wasn't tge best life to have. But it had made Drew happy, and she liked being with her parents, even if they whernt the best. Know Drew dispissed them for leaving her here withought even an rime or reason.
Finally stepping away from the wall Drew walked into the classroom putting her books on the desk. She sat in the back of the room. Drew was the only one in there, other then a guy she didn't know. Well she knew had been in the same class with him for a while but she didn't know him personally. It bugged Drew a little, not knowing a person. It was only sometimes it bugged her thought. She could live withought knoing but it still bugged her, and this was a one of the times it did.

Tyler put his arm on his desk, his hand under his chin. He was totally zoned out, daydreaming about various things; things that wouldn't make sense to anyone else except him. Tyler eventually got bored of daydreaming, frustrated with life. Tyler looked up at the blond, he waved at her and grinned. She wasn't sitting too far away from him; at least 7 desks were between them.
Tyler didn't know if he should call her over or not. A lot of people thought he was some type of emo creep at first sight. Tyler didn't care much about what people thought of him, but he would admit that all the junk builds up until you finally explode, and go all maniac. Tyler had problems with family at one point, and his last girl friend. During the times, he tried "cutting" that's his dirty little secret. No one knows he's tried it; the only evidence are the scars on his wrist and arms, which he could easily make up a explanation for. The point was that he didn't cut anymore, so he just pushed the thought over, discarding it out of his mind. Tyler was still looking at the blond. A quick gesture was made by him, telling the blond to come move over by him.

Drew sat in her desk just thinking. About thoughts, her parents and some other things. She still wondered what they had left her hear for. They have never even called, wrote, or even visited in five years. What kind of parents would even think about doing that!? Drew wasn't even sure she remembered what they bolth looked like. There picture was fading in her mind and she didn't know how to keep it there.
Then Drew noticed that the guy had gestured her over to him. Thinking it she should Drew sat there for a second. What did she have to loose? Thinking that Drew stood up walking over sitting in the chair next to him. Drew waited for him to say something. There was a kinda aquard silence.

When Drew walked over, Tyler saw how tall she actually was. She was shorter than pretty much all 17 year olds; so he guessed she was younger than him. She sat next to him; he could tell she felt awkward, but Tyler never felt awkward. Tyler turned his body to face her. "Hey, I'm Tyler" he winked at her, Tyler was more of an out-going type of guy.
Tyler was thankful for the air conditioning today, it sure was hot on these Channel Islands. He had plans to go surfing on Saturday. Tyler was a pro-surfer, him doing it ever since he was 4.
Tyler squinted as the sun blared through the wide window, that took up a whole wall of the history room. He wished he was outside, on the beach; getting ready to hit the waves. He remembered his first time he tried surfing, a humongous wave swept by and swooped him right off his feet. Since then, Tyler only falls maybe once a year.
Tyler realized how pretty Drew's eyes were; although almost everyone had beautiful eyes. Tyler went out with a blond before, he knew they were nice, and the saying 'dumb blond' isn't exactly true. He looked up as the teacher walked in, but then looked back at her.

Drew looked at the guy smiling a little bit. Pulling her bangs from behind her ear and out of from being in front of her face. The guy seemed nice and cool. Drew was usually outgoing and he seemed like that as well. Nodding as he introduced himself. "Nice to meet you Tyler, I'm Drew" she said leaning back in her chair casually.
The classroom felt good and cool today. The air conditioning was on and made the class fell good. It wasn't hot outside, but the school tended to be very warm and having air conditioning made it feel better in the classrooms then in the rest of the school.
Soon Mr. Heartland, the teacher walked into the classroom. She looked up as he walked over to his desk. Right know he was just straightening up his desk. Then Drew turned away looking back at Tyler. Taking a breath making herself a little more comfterbal in the seer she was currently sitting in.
